Bistro pod Zegarem is a warm, welcoming space that offers daily homemade meals in an academic setting. What started as a logo design request quickly turned into a full visual identity project – covering everything from print and digital materials to on-site interior signage.
This was the second project I completed for this client, following the design of a hospital logo and brand system – both initiatives aimed to bring a more cohesive, uplifting visual experience to public-serving institutions.
The aesthetic aimed to strike a balance between nostalgic charm and modern clarity. The logo was designed in several configurations to suit various print and digital uses – from large-scale signage to mobile-friendly formats. Warm colours, hand-drawn elements, and legible type helped express the bistro’s homestyle food and authentic atmosphere.
One of the most rewarding aspects was designing visual elements directly within the space. Using client-provided photos, I created visual mockups for signs, posters, and wall lettering that enhanced the customer journey—from the entrance through to the main dining area. Suggestions included black vinyl-cut logos, quotes on walls, and subtle illustrations to gently connect brand elements with the physical interior.
All assets were provided in editable formats (PDF, Illustrator, Word, PNG, SVG, WebP), ready for both digital use and high-quality print production. Files were organised and shared, along with mockups and usage guidelines. Menu files were editable and supplied with fonts for future updates.
The project was completed with mutual satisfaction and implemented progressively into the bistro’s environment.
Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Word, hand-drawn sketches and spatial mockups.
Great design starts with listening. I work closely with brands of all sizes to shape identities, craft experiences, and make ideas real — one pixel at a time.
